Odunpazarı Municipality crowned the 95th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic with a park worthy of the Republican City of Eskisehir and the spirit of the Republic. The municipality of Odunpazarı, which turns the old amusement park area in an inert state in the Gökmeydan neighborhood into a magnificent park, has put the ‘Republic Monument’ made by the famous sculptor Metin Yurdanur in this park, which he calls ‘Republic'. Turkish - English word wall, alphabet wall and Braille alphabet games for visually impaired children, fitness area, running track, seating areas, amphitheater and cafe are located in Cumhuriyet park, which has an area of 16 thousand square meters. Cumhuriyet Park soon became one of the parks that citizens preferred to spend time with. In the park, where children's laughter is not lacking, children play as they wish in playgrounds, while adults enjoy sipping hot teas in cafes.
