Odunpazarı Municipality, by doing landscaping work in Basın Park, has given the park a new and modern look. The old park area, which is 4,200 m2, was increased to 10,860 m2 with greening and expansion works carried out. Municipal teams that built a new walkway to the park also installed new park furniture throughout the park. The park has open-air libraries, an ornamental pool, a fitness area, interactive playgrounds, a parent swing, and an amp seating area next to a chess area. The park also contains the Press Martyrs Monument dedicated to the press martyrs by artist Ekrem Özen.
