It is a project implemented by Odunpazarı Municipality in cooperation with experts, democratic mass organizations, professional chambers and academicians. Arıköy was founded on an area of 35 acres in Akpınar District, where theoretical and practical training is provided on many subjects ranging from botanical knowledge required for beekeeping, basic and advanced beekeeping, hive knowledge to marketing strategies. Each master-teacher in the training, which progresses in teams, forms a team with 4 apprentice-students assigned to him. Each team receives the same training throughout the year. During the trainings, 40 m2 garden, 4 m2 huts and 5 empty hives are given in Arıköy for each team to work. Teams clean these areas at the end of the year and deliver them to the administration. honey obtained from Arıköy, where theoretical and practical training is carried out together, are distributed to citizens in need through the Halk Market.
