The municipality, which started its agricultural activities in 910 decars in 19 districts (Aşağılıca, Lütfiye, Avdan, Kargın, Uluçayır, Kıravdan, Kireç, Yörük Kırka, Yassihıyük, Çavlum, Türkmentokat, Imisehir, Akpınar, Aşağlan, Yukarıçağlan, Gümele, Doğankaya, Ağapınar and Kalkan), planted barley seed as a result of an agreement with the Agricultural and Credit Cooperative on 650 decars of agricultural land. Oats and chickpeas will be planted in the remaining 160 decare area. Chickpeas produced in the agricultural areas in question will be given free of charge to the needy at The Soup Kitchen and Halk Market connected to the Municipality of Odunpazarı.
