The municipality of Odunpazarı has launched a new project to ensure that outdated drug and pharmaceutical waste is destroyed without being mixed into the trash. Odunpazarı Municipality, which distributes "waste drug collection boxes" to pharmacies serving throughout the district, aims to separate and properly dispose of outdated drugs that harm the environment and society. In this context, teams affiliated with the Directorate of cleaning works of Odunpazarı municipality distributed "waste medicine collection box" to pharmacies in the district. Drugs will be eliminated from waste by the project launched for waste drugs, which, when randomly discarded, greatly harm the environment and human health. Citizens will protect both nature and human health by leaving expired drugs in the “Waste drug collection box”located in the nearest pharmacy.
