Odunpazarı municipality opened this center on March 8, 2020, on Adalar. The youth center was named after Ceren Ozdemir, a university student killed in Ordu, to draw attention to violence against women and murders of women. Ceren Özdemir Adalar Youth Center, located on Işıklar Street in Istiklal Neigborhood, is a center where young people can develop their social, cultural relations and prepare in accordance with its purpose with personal development workshops. The library, which is located in the center and contains 5 thousand books, is also used as a study hall, was named after the successful journalist Önder Baloğlu. Also in this center, students can do counseling guidance and counseling of young people that will be created that will be used by the project team working Office; meeting and event in order to arrange a meeting room, Sevil Özgür Theathre and Dance Hall, In addition, with 4 classrooms, there is a Özgürlük Salonu where young people can spend time with pleasure, drink tea and coffee, play various mind games. The youth center, where workshops are held in various branches to contribute to the professional and personal development of young people, suspended for some time to its face-to-face workshops due to the covid-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak. The center continues its workshops online during the pandemic period.
